ADT IS A NON-PROFIT, MEMBER-DRIVEN ORGANIZATION

The Ag Data Transparent (ADT) is a membership organization formed by those companies and organizations that support transparency in collection of agricultural data.  Members are committed to supporting the ADT by upholding the Core Principles and advocating for data transparency within their organization and in the agricultural industry.  To read more on ADT, visit the website:  www.agdatatransparent.com.

CERTIFIED MEMBERS

Certified Members for Ag Data Transparent certification must agree to the ADT's Master Services Agreement.  You can download a copy here.

Your certification fee for Certified Members is based upon your company's annual gross sales:

  • Small Organizations and Startups ($2500):  Small companies are those with less that $5 million in annual sales in the prior year.
  • Medium Sized Organizations ($5000):  Annual revenue of greater than $5 million but less than $100 million
  • Large Organizations ($7500):  Annual revenue greater than $100 Million

 After the initial certification, the renewal fee for following years is one-half of the certification fee.

 INDUSTRY MEMBERS
The backbone of the Ag Data Transparent organization are its farm industry group members.  Farm industry members are typically non-profit, member-driven organizations, whose members have expressed concern about ag data privacy, security, and control.  Ten seats on our board of directors are reserved specifically for farm industry members.  Different initial sponsorship options available.  One-year commitment with option for renewal.

SUPPORTING MEMBERS

Is your organization or company supportive of the efforts of Ag Data Transparent (ADT) but you do not qualify for certification?  You can join the ADT as a Supporting Member.  

Requirements:

  • Supporting Members pledge to support the ADT's Core Principles for ag data collection, storage, and use.
  • Supporting Members who are eligible to complete the ADT certification must join as Certified Members.
  • Supporting Members must be approved by the ADT's board of directors.
  • Supporting Members must make an initial contribution to the ADT and pay annual dues as required by the ADT board of directors.

Benefits of Membership:

  • Attend the annual meeting of the ADT members
  • Join ADT committees that work to shape the certification, model data use agreement, and other initiatives
  • Eligible for a seat on the ADT board of directors
  • Have your organization featured in the ADT newsletter
  • Help shape the future of the ADT

Initial sponsorship fee is determined by the board of directors with a one-year commitment and option for renewal each year.
